When should I have filled out the Challenge Survey?
The moment after you signed up for the Challenge you were redirected to the Challenge Survey page. A video explained that you must fill out the Challenge Survey in order to gain access to all of the videos on this page AND be eligible for the grand prize. Every person that signed up for the Challenge was automatically redirected to the Challenge Survey page. You may have just clicked that page away and thought you were good to go. Nope. Click the button below to fill out the Challenge Survey before Day 1 of the Challenge.

Why is the Challenge Survey so important?
The info you enter in the Challenge Survey is automatically entered into the Reels Challenge Master Spreadsheet where my team and I will track your progress and enter your points during the Challenge. If you do not fill out the Challenge Survey then you are not on the Reels Challenge Master Spreadsheet. If you are not on the Reels Challenge Master Spreadsheet my team and I are not tracking you.

Can you make the exception and add me to the Reels Challenge Master Spreadsheet?

Why are you being so cut throat?
Over 50% of the people who sign up for this Challenge DO NOT fill out the Challenge Survey and are eliminated before Day 1. They miss out on my team and I tracking their progress during the Challenge and possibly winning the grand prize at the end. All because they didn’t fill out the Challenge Survey before Day 1 of the Challenge. This Challenge is free for you but costs my team and I time, energy, and money for us to guide you through the 30 days. The more autonomous, self-sufficient, and proactive you are by stepping up and following the rules, the easier your journey through this Challenge will be and the quicker my team and I can kindly, lovingly, and pleasantly guide everyone through the Challenge. This isn’t cut throat. This is setting a realistic boundary and giving everyone an exceptional learning experience during the Challenge and a fair shot at winning the grand prize at the end.

PUT THIS CHALLENGE INTO YOUR SCHEDULE

✅ Schedule in your personal calendar 15 minutes / day repeating at the same time every day for the duration of this challenge to POST / DRIP that day’s Reel.

✅ Set an alarm on your phone for that same time to repeat every day as an extra reminder to POST / DRIP that day’s Reel

✅ Schedule in your personal calendar 1-2 hours / week at the same time every week for the duration of this Challenge to CREATE / BATCH 7 or more Reels and save them in Drafts.

THE RULES


1. ✅ Post 1 Reel / day for the duration of this 30 day Challenge. The deadline to post each day’s Reel is 11:59pm every night.

My team and I go to your profile every day to look at your Reel that you’ve posted for that day. If you post more than 1 Reel / day then it throws the entire back end system off.

Do NOT post more than 1 Reel / day or any other posts during the run of the Challenge.

If you post more than 1 Reel or any other post to Instagram during the Challenge run, or if you forget to post your 1 Reel / day, or if you post AFTER 11:59pm then you can still play along but:

❌ my team and I will not sort through your profile to look for that 1 Reel
❌ my team and I will no longer add to your progress file in the back end
❌ you’ll no longer be eligible for Growth Point or the grand prize

2. ✅ Tag @mycontentcalendar_ IN THE CAPTION of all 30 Reels that you post during this Challenge.

My team and I go to your profile every day to look at your Reel and check if you’ve tagged @mycontentcalendar_ in the CAPTION.
This is the only way my team and I can track your progress, add each Reel into your progress file in the back end, and cheer you on.

If you do NOT tag @mycontentcalendar_ IN THE CAPTION but rather tag @mycontentcalendar_ in the comments or mention @mycontentcalendar_ in the Reel, you can still play along but:

❌ my team and I will stop going to your profile every day
❌ my team and I will no longer add to your progress file in the back end
❌ you’ll no longer be eligible for Growth Point or the grand prize


3. ✅ Write #insanereelschallenge IN THE CAPTION of all 30 Reels that you post for this Challenge.

My team and I go to your profile every day to look at your Reel and check if you’ve written #insanereelschallenge in the CAPTION.
This is the only way my team and I can track your progress, add each Reel into your progress file in the back end, and cheer you on.

If you do NOT write #insanereelschallenge in the CAPTION but rather write #insanereelschallenge in the comments, you can still play along but:

❌ my team and I will stop going to your profile every day
❌ my team and I will no longer add to your progress file in the back end
❌ you’ll no longer be eligible for Growth Point or the grand prize

To see what other Challengers are creating, tap the magnifying glass at the bottom of your screen which takes you to the explore page. At the top search bar, type in #insanereelschallenge, tap on see all results, then tap on Tags. There you will see all the Reels that have used the #insanereelschallenge in their caption so you can cheer them on. Feel free to follow #insanereelschallenge as well to have a few of those Reels pop up in your Feed.

✅ If you have done my Reels Challenge in the past… it’s a blessing and a curse. You know just how much fun (and how much work) this Challenge is. And we still have all of the links to your Reels you created during the last time you did the Challenge on file. Yes, my team and I will revisit those Reels to see what you did, where you’ve come from, and use it as a benchmark to gauge your growth during THIS run of the Reels Challenge. That means you have to go above and beyond what you previously did in the past Challenge, push yourself to create even better Reels than before, in order for you to get Growth Points. No special treatment. This Challenge needs to be fair for everyone: Newbies and past Challengers alike.


OUR COMMUNITY GROUP


✅ The INSANE Instagram Reels 30 Day Challenge has a community group on Slack. Slack is a free program that you can use on your desktop and mobile devices.

  • Click the button below to create your profile for the Challenge’s community group.

  • You will be sent a confirmation code via email. Please check your spam folder for it.

  • Enter that confirmation code and you will be added to our community group and be able to interact with everyone in the Challenge.

  • Sometimes… Slack glitches and you aren’t sent the confirmation code even after checking your spam folder.

  • If that is the case then please CLICK HERE. An email that is already filled out will pop up on your screen. Please make sure your email address you send that email from is the email address you signed up for the Challenge with and then hit send. My team and I will invite you to the community group as quickly as we can. Please allow 1-2 days for this to happen as there are a lot of moving pieces in the background to get this Challenge up and running to the best of its ability.

  • A few days after the Challenge is over the community group will be taken down.

  • No you do not need to join the community group if you do not want to. No you will not get any less points because you didn’t join the community group. It is there to ask questions, get answers, and feel a part of a group moving their Reels forward so you don’t feel alone in this Challenge.

  • If you are in another community group of mine for other courses and / or challenges then YES this is ANOTHER community group that you can join. Why? So only the people doing this Challenge will have a safe space to ask questions, get answers, and learn together. And all of my other community groups won’t get annoyed at us 😂

You have 2 options on how to use your planner.

Option 2 is to use the Canva template and write things out on Canva in the template itself.

HOW THE CHALLENGE WILL BE DELIVERED

✅ All Reels tutorial videos are pre-recorded. Scroll down to check all of them out, then feel overwhelmed, and finally eat a whole gallon of ice cream under a blanket. For the overwhelm and ice cream binge not to happen…

✅ Every day during the Challenge you’ll get a short and sweet email with more managable, bite-sized pieces walking you step by step through this Challenge. In order to get those emails…

HOW THIS CHALLENGE WILL BE SCORED

  • My team and I will track your progress each time you tag @mycontentcalendar_ in the caption of your Reel and write out the Challenge hashtag #insanereelschallenge in the caption of each Reel that you post every single day of the 30 days of this Challenge.

  • We will also keep an eye on how many followers you have at the beginning of the Challenge and also how many you have at the end.

  • But to win the grand prize it’s not about how many new follower you get. There are 5 things I’m looking out for:

✅ Vanity metrics (10% of your final score). Vanity metrics are new followers, Reels views, etc.
✅ Accountability (10% of your final score). For each STORY you post about the Challenge you must write out @mycontentcalendar_ in text on top of your Story for my team to find it and count it as a point. You can create your own Stories or download the done-for-you Accountability Stories below.

  • Click the button below to download all 30 Accountability Stories - 1 for each day.

  • Airdrop or Bluetooth them to your phone and save them in an album.

  • Post it as an Instagram STORY on that day of the challenge, write on top how you are feeling and what you learned, and write out @mycontentcalendar_ in text on top of your Story so we can track it and cheer you on.

  • No, you don’t have to do this every day. Just as the spirit moves you. If you don’t post an Accountability Story you will not get an Accountability point.

✅ Mindset (10% of your final score). Basically, don’t be a d!#%. To get mindset points in the live calls with a positive attitude, ask your questions with a smile, and support other Challengers in the live call chat. To get mindset points in the community group share a win with us, share a struggle that you overcame with persistence and grit, cheer the other Challengers on, support the other Challengers with - at least - a “you can do it!” and - at most - a helpful tip or trick that you have used when you had the same struggle that they are having. If my team and I can see that you in a positive growth mindset, you will get Mindset points.

✅ Consistency (30% of your final score).

  • If you create a Reel every day for the 30 days of this Challenge and tag @mycontentcalendar_ in the captions and use the Challenge hashtag #insanereelschallenge in the captions of all 30 Reels then you are being consistent.

  • If you miss one day or forget to WRITE OUT IN THE CAPTION @mycontentcalendar_ AND #insanereelschallenge then you are still welcome to play along but my team and I will no longer visit your profile every day to track your progress and you will no longer be eligible for the grand prize.

  • My team and I will be working non-stop behind the scenes tracking everyone’s progress. We will not have time to tell you if you are still in the running or not for the grand prize. Please do not ask us. If you are staying consistent and following the rules of this Challenge then you will be eligible for the grand prize at the end.

✅ Growth (40% of your final score).

  • This is not your follower count growth.

  • My team and I will chart how much you improve over the 30 days of this Challenge.

  • You’ll notice that you’re getting faster, more comfortable, more creative, more authentic at creating Reels. AND that will show up in the Reels that you post every day.

  • I’ll watch how much… or how little… you grow over the 30 day Challenge and track your progress accordingly.

This is the winning strategy for this Challenge.

✅ First, focus on growth. Push yourself. Try new things out. Play with Reels. And align your Reels to your creative freelance business. All 30 Reels that you create for this Challenge MUST be aligned with your creative freelance business. After all, growth makes up 40% of your final score.

✅ Secondly, stay consistent. You must post 30 Reels - 1 Reel / day of this Challenge. For all 30 Reels you post during the Challenge you MUST write out these 2 things in the captions: @mycontentcalendar_ #insanereelschallenge Being consistent makes up 30% of your final score.

✅ Finally, keep an eye on your vanity metrics (10% of your final score), stay accountable with your Accountability Stories(10% of your final score), and have a positive growth mindset in the live calls and community group (10% of your final score).


YOUR HOMEWORK TO SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

  • Open your one month calendar and the long list of Reels ideas so they are in front of you

  • Search through the long list of Reels ideas and find 30 that vibe with you

  • Write those 30 into your one month Instagram Reels calendar

  • Make sure that it feels aligned to your creative freelance business

  • It doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be present

  • When you’re done create a STORY about how you’re feeling with your Reels strategy and post it to Instagram and write @mycontentcalendar_ in text on top of that Story so we can cheer you on
